UM-Flint Alumni John Goodman and Sandy Doe of Andrews, Hooper, & Pavlik, CPAs will be on campus on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 to talk about internships and career insights in the accounting field. Pre-business, accounting, finance, and general business students are encouraged to attend! This is a multiple part series featuring UM-Flint SOM Alumni presenting on internships and career readiness.

About the speakers:
John Goodman is a Manager at Andrews, Hooper, & Pavlik. John has 10 years of public accounting experience and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). He specializes in tax planning, tax preparation, and audit services for various industries, including government entities. John also provides AHP with internal training regarding audits of local municipalities. John graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Finance from the University of Michigan-Flint.

Sandy Doe is a Senior Accountant and has close to 5 years of public accounting experience and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). She specializes in accounting, internal and external audit as well as employee benefit plan audit. She provides these services for various industries such as financial institutions, employee benefit plans, and government entities. Sandy has presented on the “Transition from College to Career – AHP” for UM–Flint’s Beta Alpha Psi. Sandy graduated with both a Master of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Business Administration from UM–Flint.
